South Bay Archery Club, Inc.  Meeting Minutes for April 9th 2008                                   

    Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. 

Officers present: Paul Farbman, Neils Goerrisen, Brad Denton, Carol Hitchcock, Bob Dupuy, Robbie Leahey, Bob Carrillo, and Rich Geist. 

President’s Report – Paul Farbman began the meeting by welcoming two new members.  

Vice President’s Report –Neils Goerrissen said that the tee shirt order will be in soon and that we still need a volunteer to take over the Entertainment Chairman position. The main responsibility is to provide refreshments at the meetings, the upside is free membership. 

Secretary’s Report – Brad Denton reported that membership renewals are now overdue and to please include a self addressed stamped envelope with your $60.00 check made out to SBAC.  

Treasurer’s Report – Sam Hitchcock paid all bills and reported that we are in fine shape financially.  

Newsletter Editor – Carol Hitchcock wants submissions by the third Wednesday of each month. 

Range Captain’s Report – Robert Leahey reported that the road is in fine shape. The next work party to set up for the 3-D shoot and do general maintenance is Friday 4-18 and we need more people to attend.  

Tournament Chairman’s Report – Scores from last months shoot are posted in this newsletter.  

Target Captain’s report – Bob Dupuy stated that the next shoot will be a field round on Sunday, April 27th. 

3 – D Captains Report – Bob Carrillo reported that ten new 3-D targets are on their way, all with an African theme.  

Entertainment Congratulations to Arnie Villacorta, Bob Dupuy and Paul Farbman who won $5.00, $8.00 and $11.00 pots respectively. Steve Crawford was not present to win the $50.00 family pot. The Daigneaults, Bobsts, and Detros were not current to win the $200.00 pots and the Fields and Faheys were current but not present to win. 

Old Business   - none. 

New business – A proposal was made to reschedule any rained out shoot to the following weekend. Another proposal was made to decrease dues for those who participate in work parties. Expect voting at next meeting.
