Important message:
Per our Conditional Use Permit with the City of Rancho Palos Verdes and our agreements with the Palos Verdes Land Conservancy and the Coastal Commission, no fires of any kind are permitted, smoking is only in the picnic area, no alcohol is allowed, parking is only in the parking area and no longer permitted anywhere along the road including ‘turnouts,’ no crossbow use is permitted nor the use of hunting tips (broadheads) on arrows, and members who drive and park on the range do so only for the purpose of archery:
No beach, fishing, boating, picnicking, biking use, etc. That’s all allowed for us and the general public as long as you enter by foot

RULES:
- DO NOT USE RANGE FOR OFF ROADING. (THE COST IS EXPENSIVE TO REPAIR DAMAGE DONE, AND COSTS WILL BE SUBMITTED TO PERSONS RESPONSIBLE)
- DO NOT ENTER RANGE DAY OF RAIN OR ONE DAY AFTER.
- RANGE GATE WILL BE ADDITIONALLY LOCKED DURING THIS TIME AND LOCK REMOVED WHEN APPROPRIATE.
Gate reminder -
- Check the latch before you begin.
- Unwind all the way out to prevent any stress to anchor points.
- Do not run over chain that is not all the way on the ground.
- Rewind crank correctly.
- Do not stretch chain too tight.
- Make sure latch is secure.
- Lock - Lock to lock (so that either lock will unlock the gate).
- Lock gate after entering and after leaving range.
All members while on the range are to own and shoot archery
equipment (wooden bows, recurve or compound bows). Neither
crossbows nor the use of broadheads nor any firearms is
permitted. Entry onto the range by vehicle is restricted
exclusively to archery and no other purpose whatsoever.
No alcohol, smoking, nor open flames are permitted on the range.
Parking is only permitted in the parking lot near the practice
area, not along the road.
The range road is closed the day after a heavy rain.
All members will abide by the Club’s By-Laws and Constitution,
and all local laws and rules as set forth by the Palos Verdes
Peninsula Land Conservancy, the Coastal Commission, and the City
of Rancho Palos Verdes. Failure to comply may result with
expulsion from the Club.
Local flora and fauna are to remain unharmed. This includes but
is not limited to rabbits and other rodents, lizards, hawks,
owls, and pelicans.
Members are responsible for their guests and children.
