How do I join?

Come to a monthly membership meeting, or a tournament/shoot, with your bow.

How much to join?

$65 for the first year, plus a $10 key deposit. This is for the whole (immediate) family.

Where can I join?

At a monthly membership meeting or a tournament/shoot.

Do you have lessons?

No, but other members can give you tips. We can recommend places for lessons.

Where can I buy equipment?

The closest places are Orange County Archer in Fountain Valley, and Hi-Tech in Fullerton. They offer sales, service, and lessons on their indoor ranges.

What does the Club offer?

Unlimited daylight use of the range, monthly competitions, trophies, periodic 3d shoots, intra-club challenges, and an annual banquet.

When can I use the Club

From sunrise to sunset, except when there’s a work party fixing up the range, usually the day before a tournament/shoot.

When does the Club meet?

Membership meetings are the second Wednesday at 7:30- 8:30 p.m. Tournaments/shoots are the fourth Sunday from 9:00 a.m. till about 12:00 or 1:00 p.m.

Where does the Club meet?

Membership meetings are CURRENTLY at the Ladera Linda Community Center across from the Trump Golf Course, at 32201 Forrestal Drive, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275-5249

Where IS the Club?

The range is located in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, at 4600 Palos Verdes Drive South near Portuguese Bend. The range is marked by signs and a locked gate (chain).

How many members are there?

Almost 200.

What about kids?

Children are welcome! There are separate shooting distances for “cubs” “youth,” “young adults,” and “adults,” further broken down by gender and types of bows, sights, releases, etc.

How much is a tournament (a.k.a. 'shoot'?)

$3 for adults; $1 for young adults, youth, or cubs; or $5 for a family. 3-D shoots are more.

Are there trophies/prizes?

Yes.

Why is your email address spelled out strangely?

Due to the numerous spammers out there looking at web pages to add email addresses to their mailing lists, we have made the email address spaced out making it difficult for those automated scripts to capture our email accounts.
